My key takeaways from this presentation were the importance of maintaining a professional image and work ethic in an internship. I learned that honoring commitments, being attentive and proactive, understanding workplace culture, and minimizing personal matters are essential for building strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
This won't be my first internship experience, I've had other opportunities that taught me the value of being professional and reliable. However, this presentation reminds the importance of learning and growth in these areas.

I also learned that acting professionally not only includes how we show ourselves but the appearance, behavior, skill, etc. adds onto it. I will need to prove myself to be more available towards the workplace and communicate when things happen without getting…

There are so many ways to become professional and the slides talk about 5 tips for becoming one. What I learned in these workshops is that to have professionalism, you have to slowly build trust because it demonstrates expertise, competence, and reliability. All of these are good traits that a supervisor might look out for. To get this done you would have to get work done on time and honor your commitments. Another reason why it's so important is because it builds respect and enhances reputation. A supervisor would not want to hire a person who is…
