Flores Olmedo, Norma 1) I’ve increased my focus on self-care during this experience through being open to various ways of self care aside from the physical, such as the emotional. Although I’ve focused in the physical way before we had a talk about the various forms of self care, I’ve made vast improvements within that specific area. Recently, I got injured which prevented me from running for an entire week and a half. It has taught me what self care is and how I need to take care of myself and be responsible.Some examples that i increased my self care during this experience is exercising sleeping your sleep hours. -I have increased my focus on self-care during this experience by practicing ways that make me feel more comfortable. I have been more comfortable with myself and my emotions because of this. Being familiar with it helps me feel safe whenever I become overwhelmed.

  1. During this process ive been going outside more trying new things being in touch with my feelings and talking things out instead of getting mad. therefore i believe my self care has improved and i feel like im doing quite better than i was before

  2. the self check ins were positive as it was a reminder to be better with myself. Sometimes i struggle making that time to do more for myself.
