During this experience I’m glad to say that i can focus more in my self-care. Leaning new methods to manage stress. Body positivity was a topic that truly impacted me the most. Most of the time we tent to focus in how our body looks and what others says to our body, when we should be more focused in the task that we can complete all because our body functions. I think self-care check-ins made me realize what i do for me over the week, and preparing in myself in how i would do it better next week.
I believe that balanced is what makes you succeed the most. Having a balance can allowed you to be good in you…

I have increased my self care by taking time for myself to recuperate and feel stress free from school, work, deadlines, people etc. I'm taking time for myself, time that isn't planned or rushed like I do every morning for school. These self-care check-ins have been effective because I do actually have time and energy to take care of myself physically, mentally, spiritually, etc. Since we are growing up and taking up more responsibilities it's hard for us to make time or even have the right mood or energy to properly take care of ourselves but now we have self care tips and tricks. As I am finishing up these two courses i will be continuing to bala…

I have focused on self care during this journey by just by casting out all the extra energy that I don’t prefer and like. When you do self care you have to find the root to the problem and just cast it out. The program added on a vast amount of stress because I have so much work on Top of this work and it really is a lot when the work gets added up and the work is really tedious. The self care reflections were not effective because this just added up on stress because the work is a lot and o have school work and other things to do. The self care check out just added…

I have increased my focus on self-care during my WLG experience by actually focusing on the work that I had to do and by keeping track of all the self-care check-ins we did every week. I managed to not procrastinate as much as before and finished my work before wanting to do other things such as play video games or be on my phone. I would say yes the self-care check-ins were effective in promoting reflection for myself because every week I was able to have a sort of mental check-in and improve on the different things that I was working on for each check-in. I also was able to see my weaknesses and strengths during each self-check-in…

I have increased my focus on self care Moses by making an effort on getting more sleep, as well as trying to stay more organized. I have also started to take vitamin supplements as a way to stay healthier and to make sure I get all the nutrients that I need. That includes less procrastination and staying away from situations that will stress me out. The self care check-ins do cause me to look over how well I’ve been practicing self care and to really reflect on how I can improve in that area and make sure that I focus on my health and well-being more. As the CUNY and the CRQ classes conclude I plan to continue…
