During my experince i have increased my focus in self care by having a possotive mind set and not letting my self get overwhlemed by my thoughts.
The self care check ins were affective because it helped me understand how i felt through out the week and what i did to improve and make my self feel better about it.
I plan on balncing my work load and and prioratizing my well being by not overwhelming my self and being responsible for my work by having a good work schedule and a good sleep schedule to reach my goals.

I have increased my focus on self care during this experience and it’s guided me to not only take breaks when I need to but know when I should be doing something and just getting things done in that exact moment instead of procrastinating.
The self check ins were helpful for me because it helped me reflect on my own actions and what I can be doing better for my own benefit.
As I conclude my CUNY classes and workshop I plan to continue to stay organized and definitely stay diciplined to also give myself space and breaks when needed. Basically keeping that balance to continue self care.

I have increased my focus on self-care during this experience by partaking in meditation in the form of reflection and deep breaths. Sometimes when I get home, I sit on my bed, close my eyes, and reflect on things going on. I just sit on my bed, taking deep breaths and relatively just plan in my head what’s next in my schedule and what I should do.
The self-care check-ins were effective in promoting reflection for myself because I became more aware of my mentals and further understood myself. I began some forms of meditating and I further built upon self-care and spreading the word of self-care.

How have you increased your focus on self-care during this experience? i increased my focus on self care by giving myself time alone at night to just rest in and think about my day and things i could've done better and things that i am happy about.

1. I’ve increased my focus for self care by journaling 15 minutes every night. It allows me to really reflect on my day and let it out without stressing about it.
2. Yes, the self care check ins were effective in prompting reflection for me because sometimes, I’m so busy that I forget that it’s ok to take a break and check in with myself.
