1) A social issue I am very passionate about is gun violence. Every year, thousands of lives are lost due to gun violence, there has been some change but not a lot. Every year there has been an average of 35,000 gun deaths per year, it is a very concerning number. Teenagers like me should not be able to have a way to have access to guns and there should be deeper background checks on those who do have access to guns. Kids, teens, and young adults at school should be able to feel safe without worries that there might be a school shooting.
2) I don't believe that schools should ban books. Schools use the excuse that…

A social issue that I am passionate about would be mental health awareness. I am passionate regarding this social issue as mental health often isn't as taken as serious as it should be in society. I am also passionate about this issue due to the stigma surrounding mental health.
I believe that states should not ban specific curriculum or books from schools unless the curriculum or books feature things that are actively harmful to a student. To illustrate, things such as racist ideology books or homophobic books should be banned as they pose a threat and are harmful to the well being of a student. Schools shouldn't limit the education of a student due to conflicting views. Instead,…

The social category that I am most deeply passionate about is gender equality. Since the beginning of time men and women haven't been seen as equal and therefore men have the upmost right to control the society and the world, we live in. I believe that regardless of gender people shouldn't be treated better nor worse. Alongside gender equality sexual orientation also plays a big role, especially nowadays as more and more sexual are known and people identify as.
I believe that schools offering students a well-rounded education that exposes them to a range of viewpoints and to be open minded. This is very crucial as youths react to what they are grown up around and so i…

One social issue that I am deeply passionate about is educational inequality. The disparities in educational opportunities among different socioeconomic groups have long-lasting consequences on individuals and society as a whole. Growing up, I witnessed how some students had access to advanced classes, extracurricular activities, and college preparatory resources, while others faced overcrowded classrooms and outdated textbooks. This stark contrast fueled my passion for advocating for equal educational opportunities for all.
Regarding the banning of curricula and books in schools, I believe it is essential to strike a balance between ensuring academic freedom and maintaining sensitivity to diverse perspectives. While schools should provide a well-rounded education, restricting certain materials can hinder students' exposure to different ideas and stifle…
1. One social issue that I am very passionate about is global warming. And I am very passionate about it because I believe that the earth should be treated well if we are going to live on it and I think that not enough people believe in taking care of the earth and many people only contribute to the littering and dirtying of the earth and I think that change needs to be made fast if the earth Is to be saved
2. I believe that schools banning books and limiting what students learn is very wrong and should not be done because school is supposed to be a place to learn and not a place where people pick and choose…
