Regarding self determination theory, it generally posits that individuals have three basic psychological needs: autonomy, competence, and relatedness. Autonomy refers to the need for control over one's actions, competence is the need to effectively interact with the environment, and relatedness involves connecting with others. Fulfilling these needs is said to enhance motivation, well-being, and personal growth. In various settings, self-determination can have different impacts. Self-determination theory explains how people's perception of self-determination influences their drive. This results in individuals feeling more motivated to take action when they believe what they do will have an impact on the final result. This is advantageous for the workplace since professionals will show greater commitment and effort there. They might want to work more diligently and effectively in their employment. Students may feel more confident, study more and try harder to achieve academically in schools or other working environments.

2)In this article I learned that self determination is when someone is motivated to take action in accomplishing, achieving, or getting something done. I also learned that an autonomy mentions the need for freedom and choice and that competence is the wish and or desire to feel capable and effective and this includes the need for social connections and belonging. When these needs are satisfied, most people are more likely to experience inner motivation, and personal growth. This feeling is important for many reasons because this feeling gives you the drive to push forward and try to succeed in whatever you choose.
3) My future goal is to graduate high school and attend college to pursue in nursing.…
