The seven dimensions of wellness include: physical, emotional, intellectual, social, spiritual, environmental, and occupational. As you head into your internship experience, what aspects of wellness do you think will be important for you to focus on and balance?
How does confidence play a role in wellness and self-image? How can you become more confident as a person, student, professional, and ultimately, an intern?
Last but not least, leave some inspiring words or a message to others so that they can develop their confidence and focus on their wellness! Let's inspire and empower one another.

When I start my internship, the important aspects of wellness for me to focus on and balance would be physical, social and occupational wellness. Having to focus on those aspects would help me from being overwhelmed and stressed out. To focus on physical wellness, I will eat well and sleep for at least 8 hours. For social wellness, I will be around my friends and family. For occupational wellness, I will balance my work and my free time. Confidence plays a role in wellness and self care because it makes someone feel positive about themselves and won't doubt themselves. As I start my internship, it'll be important for me to take care of myself in different ways. First, I need to keep myself healthy and full of energy so I can do well at my internship. This means exercising, eating right, and getting enough rest.
I also want to focus on my emotional wellness. Dealing with stress, taking care of myself, and having a positive attitude will help me handle the challenges at my internship. Being strong and getting help when I need it will be really important.

In order to face obstacles with a positive outlook, my emotional goals are to reduce stress and build resilience. As I'm entering my internship I feel like my emotions, social, and environment are the most important. For me the emotional aspect is the most important because when I'm not feeling up to something I am very stubborn to change my mind about certain things.
