1. I believe being career ready is learning to adapt quickly and not letting negativity hurt what your capable of. It's also knowing your skill set and how you can use that to your advantage in your work.

2. I feel like it showed me that it's not easy and that it's important for me to give my 100% because that's what will benefit me and demonstrate a good image of my character. I want to be someone who can time manage myself well and show others what I'm capable of and telling off the negativity that I sometimes have in my head and show that I can be career ready. 1. To me, being career-ready means having the skills, knowledge, and mindset to excel in the professional world. It's about being prepared for the challenges and opportunities that come your way. In my opinion, being prepared for a job is about doing all I can to learn more about the type of work I want to do and the skills I'll need to be successful in.I also want to make sure that I'm building my experience for my future career and that I'm prepared for all the challenges that lie ahead in college. I have gained several skills from WLG that will help me be prepared for college and find employment after graduation, making me more career- and college-ready. Examples include creating a resume and researching my career, which has taught me a lot of new information. Apart from acquiring knowledge in several areas of my life, like promoting…

To me being career ready means that you are equipped with the necessary skills needed for the career that you are interested in pursuing. The WLG experience helped me to become both college and career ready because it taught me how to get myself in the right head space while at school or my chosen career, it also taught me how to manage my work and school life. A life skill I would like to learn is how to better manage my time so that I don't get overwhelmed with all the work I procrastinated doing all week.
