It's about being prepared and confident in pursuing and excelling in a chosen career path. Being career-ready involves a combination of technical expertise, transferable skills, and personal qualities that are valued in the work place. From a technical standpoint, being career-ready means having a solid foundation of knowledge and expertise in a specific field; or industry. This includes having a deep understanding of the subject matter, staying updated with industry trends, and continuously learning and improving one's skills. Career readiness also means to pertain certain skills that will make you stand out from the other applicants.
WLG has helped me understand the fundamental of career readiness as it shows me what I need to focus on. Through WLG, I was able to learn about leadership values and self worth values.
