My key takeaways from this presentation is the importance of proper communication and being connected with others. I learned that networking plays an important role for being connected with others so you can be more open to opportunities and new information through that connection. To keep that connection you have to keep in touch even social interactions are a way. Furthermore, communication can help to notify the supervisor of anything that may be happening that they should know of while doing this in a professional manner. I will effectively communicate with my colleagues and supervisor at work by sharing common interests and ideas. Also by asking questions to double check on anything or notify them if an issue…

Communication can be crucial during the internship as it creates organization within the worksite and also allows the employees to have a better grasp of what their role and job is. Along with your communication, double-checking tasks can also be beneficial to one's success in their careers as it removes the possibility of you making a mistake. Networking on the other hand allows the employee to move onto the next steps, giving you an opportunity to seek future careers.

  1. Some of my key takeaways from this presentation are that you should always be straightforward. This is because being straightforward causes less time to be used up and gets your point across faster. Another is to always communicate whenever you're confused, and that emails shouldn't be too long. Since the main point of emailing people is to send a clear message, emails shouldn’t be too long and include too many fluff words. Emailing your supervisor is significant as it will clear up any confusion between you and your supervisor. Additionally, networking is an important aspect that everyone should consider.

  2. In order to effectively communicate with my colleagues and supervisors, I will send messages to them in a clear…

  1. I had many key takeaways from this presentation. A couple of them are how important it is to communicate/convey your thoughts and ideas in work environments. I also took away what communication really is, it is more than talking to others it also about how you do so and the purpose behind the communication. And what are the most effective ways to communicate and when it’s considered appropriate. I also took other forms of communication, not just conversations but also long distance ones through mediums like email and text.

  2. I will effectively communicate with my supervisor and colleagues by using verbal and written communication. I feel those are my strongest areas where I will be able to communicat…
